An up-to-date, easy to understand practical interpretation of 2 Timothy 2:15 is…”Make an effort, be prompt or earnest to do diligence to present or prove yourself acceptable as a toiler; figuratively a teacher and to make a straight cut, that is, dissect  and expound correctly the divine message of truth.”  

There is a Bible College in Springfield Ohio that is making a mark in the teaching of the Word of God.  American Bible Colleges exists to bring the aforementioned scripture to light in the life of its students.  ABC teaches the practicalities of Christian ministry to whosoever will.   The courses taught are meaty and readily assimilated into a person’s life through classrooms with live instructors and correspondence both mail and internet.

The courses are taught in one thirty day period contained within one class per week and three forty-five minutes sessions per class.  Each course comes complete with homework, quizzes and exams and requires a Ministry Practicum in which the student must be activated in their church or ministry to receive proper credits for graduation.  In other words, ABC students must be a help to the pastor or ministry leader!  The courses do not have a denominational/American slant, just the great Word of God.  The gospel is for the entire world and we endeavor to train and empower the serious student into the work of the gospel ministry.
